The Country's best-selling compact car and third best-selling car overall, the Honda Civic continues to please. Using what Honda calls the "One Motion" design, it was available in Coupe and Sedan models. Trim levels ranged from entry-level Civic DX, which is for the economy-minded buyer, and sold without air-conditioning, power mirrors or power door locks. It was followed by the LX, EX and EX-L models. Enthusiast drivers could opt for the Civic Si, this time in both sedan and coupe body styles. Civic Coupes and Sedans were available during this time with 1.8-liter four-cylinder engines making 140 horsepower. They were mated to a buyer's choice of five-speed manual or automatic transmissions. Civic Si Coupes and Sedans came with their own special motivation in the form of a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 201 horsepower and is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

Introduced as a 2016 model, the tenth-gen Honda Civic is the latest version of the best-selling vehicle in the Honda lineup. With a wheelbase 1.2-inches longer than the previous version, this Honda Civic offers better NVH ratings than before.
